Every day you have to look great every day you have to be fabulous on screen.” Isn’t television as (if not more) demanding? “Of course it is!” answers Rashami. The lifestyle for television actors is very different, while for films I believe you need a lot of dedication, time and patience,” Rashami says. I have learnt a lot of things (from the TV industry), so I cannot compare (films to TV). But films are altogether a different medium from television. However, she adds that television will always be the priority. She’s also keeping an open mind about trying out different mediums (Rashami has worked in Hindi and regional language films before). “(On TV, all the shows have) women-oriented subjects, and they are all doing well,” she shrugs, explaining why she’s quite optimistic about her career. If the actress is worried about what she’ll take up next, she doesn’t show it. After every show, I think one should go to a new place, experience something,” Rashami said, although she refused to divulge where she intended to vacation. She doesn’t have a show in hand as of now, and is hoping to make the best of an unexpected break by planning a getaway. Since Adhuri Kahaani Hamari went off air so suddenly, Rashami says she’ll have to see what comes her way next.
